FRIENDLY ALTERNATIVE TO PURE ACIDS
SoftAcid has been developed not only as an alternative to antibiotic growth promoters, but also as a friendly alternative to the organic acids used in the feed industry for mill hygiene, feed preservation, animal Salmonella and E.coli control. The SoftAcid products are less corrosive towards concrete and carbon steel, have reduced smell and low evaporation rates, along with a demonstrated inhibition of Salmonella and E.coli. SoftAcid also significantly reduces the mould count in feed pellets, and inhibits its long-term growth. The SoftAcid products offer significant benefits both in pig feed, piglet feed and poultry feed.

Performance of SoftAcid
Extensive trials have been carried out at the National Committee for Pig Production in Denmark.

• Better acceptable palatability with dosages of up to 1.5%

• Test results point to a reduction of live yeast in the gut
• Performance found to be similar to formic acid
