AVIZANT YELLOW 20HS

For use in poultry feed for skin and egg yolk pigmentation, as well as for pigmentation of food for dogs and cats. Avizant® Yellow 20 HS contains natural xanthophylls obtained from the extract of marigold flowers (tagetes erecta). By controlled saponification of the extract an optimal bioavailability of the oxy-carotenoids for broiler skin and egg yolk pigmentation can be obtained.

Legal status:
Premixture (according to regulation (EC) 1831/2003), usage only for approved manufacturers of feeding stuff.

Description:
Free-flowing yellowish to rose-colored powder.

Recommended dosage:
Depending on feed composition and desired pigmentation effect the dosage varies:
Skin pigmentation 0.1 -2.0 kg/1,000 kg
Egg yolk pigmentation 0.05 - 0.5 kg/1,000 kg
Dog and cat food 0.1 - 2.0 kg/1,000 kg

Activity:
20 g total xanthophylls per kg, mainly consisting of lutein, carrier wheat middlings and calcium carbonate.

Storage:
Keep tightly sealed in a cool and dry place.

Drying loss:
max. 6 %

Shelf life:
Guaranteed contents for 12 months if kept under proper storage conditions in original packaging.

Bulk density:
approx. 0.9 g/cm3

Packaging:
Semi-vacuum sealed aluminum/polyethylene bags with a net weight of 25 kg.

Solubility:
Not soluble in water.
