CarnEon 100

CarnEon 100 is the high-quality and safe solution offered by Lohmann Animal Health. L-Carnitine is a vitamin-like substance that occurs naturally in feedstuffs and, to a much smaller extent, in plant-based feedstuffs. Another source of L-carnitine is endogenous production from lysine and methionine. In addition to L-carnitine from these sources, supplementation is required when the production of energy relies to a large extent on fatty acid utilization such as at high performance levels, during stress, reproduction and in young animals.
CarnEon 100 is the optimal tool for liquid applications to improve the performance of animals due to its key role in the energy metabolism.

Legal status: Feed additive (L-carnitine) according to Regulation (EC) 1831/2003; the category is nutritional additives and the functional group is vitamins, pro-vitamins and chemically well-defined substances having similar effect.

Recommended dosage: 10 - 1000 mg L-carnitine per kg complete feed (10 - 1000 mg carnEon 100 per kg complete feed) depending on animal species/category; Detailed dosage recommendations on request
